This campus is first target of the student to join for Bachelor level of engineering study.This is the main Constituent campus of Tribhuvan University.This campus has globally recognized image in the engineering field.This college was founded in 1930 for the improvement of technical education in Nepal.This college is offering bachelor level degree in Civil,Architecture,Electrical,Electronics and Communication,Mechanical And Computer Engineering.The intake capacity of Civil engineering is one hundred and ninety two.(108 regular + 84 full fee), forty eight seats for each of Architecture, Electrical, Electronics and Communication,Mechanical and Computer engineering . (24 regular + 24 full fee). Total of four hundred and thirty two student admitted here for bachelor program every year.

Being the main Constituent Campus of Tribhuvan University student can get all the facility required for the development of their academic as well as extra curricular activity.The infra structure and the material are well enough for individual faculty.One can enjoy the peace environment of college.Student can easily get all the benefits to improve their knowledge.Good facility of Hostel is another point of attraction of this college.

Besides bachelor degree in engineering , this college offers you M.Sc. Engineering Degree program as well as Ph.D. Program.It offers Ph.D. in all Engineering and Science disciplines.While it offers M.Sc. Degree in fifteen programs.Urban Planning, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering,Water Resources Engineering,Renewable Energy Engineering,Information and Communication Engineering, Geo technical Engineering, Transportation Engineering,Sustainable Water Sanitation Health and Development,Technology and Innovation Management, Disaster Risk Management,Computer System & Knowledge Engineering,

Energy System Planning & Management, Construction Management each have twenty seats.While the Power system Engineering have only sixteen seats.
